  • Share |

Up next in our 18 for October success stories is Munger and Associates, LLC.

Munger and Associates, founded by Peter Munger, specializes in providing products and services for flooring needs, such as carpet, linoleum, and tiling to businesses and government agencies.

Peter decided to start his company at the age of 83, stating: “One just has to stay active, if you retire, you go to seed.”

He has over 30 years of work experience, including his military service as a member of the 30th Infantry Division of World War II. When Peter wanted to secure government contacts as a Service Disabled Veteran, he enlisted the help of the Widener Small Business Development Center (SBDC).

Peter learned about different government programs, such as Bid Match. With the help of the SBDC, Peter was able to secure a Bid Match contract in just 48 hours. He also established an alliance within the SBDC network that will helped his company market additional services to clients. Peter continues to work with the SBDC to help increase his market share and embark on new technology for his clients.
