Pennsylvania Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) State Director Christian Conroy joined U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Administrator Karen Mills and other officials from the SBA and its resource partners at a two-day meeting in Baltimore to discuss opportunities to increase services to support the nation's entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Conroy, one of ten SBDC state directors invited to the meeting, was there to represent the six SBDCs in the Mid-Atlantic region: Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, DC.
Similar representatives from across the country attended on behalf of SCORE, the Women's Business Development Centers, regional clusters and SBA district offices.
As an outcome of the meeting, the Pennsylvania SBDC will be exploring opportunities to strengthen its existing partnerships with these programs to help entrepreneurs start and grow successful businesses.
