  • Share |

Philadelphia 100, started in 1988 by The Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia, The Philadelphia Business Journal, and the Wharton Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a project that strives to identify and honor the 100 fastest growing, privately held entrepreneurial companies in the Greater Philadelphia Region.

The program has recognized some of the area’s most renowned companies during their beginning stages including Mothers' Work, Fiberlink, Urban Outfitters, Forman Mills, Kremer Laser Eye Center, and Primavera Systems.

Nominations for the 2014 Philadelphia 100 are being accepted through June 15, 2014. Business owners can nominate their own business or another business at no cost. Nominated companies will be required to submit relevant company information, which will be used by the Wharton SBDC  to rank the companies based on their percentage increase in sales from 2011 to 2013. Those companies in the top ten will receive the Top 10 Fastest Growing Company Award.

Winners will be notified in August and the gala, one of the Philadelphia’s premier business events, will take place in October 2014.
