Lehigh University SBDC Hosting Lehigh Valley's Premier International Conference for Businesses on September 15, 2014

On Monday, September 15, the Lehigh University SBDC will host ‘Bringing the World to You,’ an informative day of international trade sessions for business owners looking to grow their international presence.  All attendees will be able to meet with Pennsylvania trade representatives from Arab Gulf, Australia/New Zealand, Brazil, Canada, Central/Eastern Europe, Chile, Eastern Mediterranean, France, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Netherlands/Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Singapore/ASEAN, South Korea, Taiwan and United Kingdom/Ireland/Scandinavia.

The event will also feature a breakfast program on “Developing an International Presence in Europe” and a luncheon panel discussion “Global Economic Outlook for 2015.”   Also included in the program are morning and afternoon workshops dealing with international legal and finance issues.  The Pennsylvania Authorized Trade Representatives will also be onsite to meet with companies who need assistance with:

  • Determining the marketability of a product
  • Agent/distributor searches
  • Identifying relevant trade events
  • Providing support at trade events
  • Providing support with potential partner meetings
  • Reviewing marketing materials
  • Market research reports
  • Assistance with market entry strategy
  • Company/competitor profiles
