New, Self-Paced Online Courses Available for Small Business Owners through Pennsylvania’s Online Broadband and Technology Training

The Pennsylvania Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) are encouraging business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to sign up for Pennsylvania’s Online Broadband & Technology Training (OBTT) Program, a statewide initiative offering a variety of no cost online training courses for individuals interested in sharpening their technical skills. The online library holds more than 500 educational videos and more than 100 courses including Microsoft Office Suite applications, graphic design, project management, QuickBooks and more.

Available course topics include:

  • Online Marketing
  • Email Marketing
  • Website Development
  • Social Media
  • Advanced Wireless Technologies
  • Cloud Computing
  • Internet Security
  • Information Security for End Users
  • Quickbooks
  • Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Access)
  • Graphics/Graphic Design
  • Business Skills
  • Project Management

The courses are intended to advance local Pennsylvania governments, small businesses, nonprofits, and individuals by teaching relevant skills in an increasingly competitive job market as well as developing awareness of broadband options and advancing broadband adoption.

Registration for OBTT classes is free, and open to all Pennsylvania residents.
