Philadelphia Seminar to Educate Small Businesses on Selling to the Public and Private Sector

The Pennsylvania Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) are proud to be a part of the U.S. General Services Administration’s (GSA) upcoming program on May 26 for marketing to the public/private sector, which is open to the small business community, including Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Woman-Owned Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, and HUBZone Small Businesses.

The event will feature keynote speaker, Harold T. Epps, Vice Chairman, PRWT Services, Inc. Mr. Epps is an award-winning leader with over 30 years of corporate experience in providing high performance products and solutions for complex and compliance driven industries. Since 2007, Mr. Epps has led and served as the President & CEO of PRWT Services, Inc., one of America’s largest minority-owned firms and a $100M premier provider of high performance business solutions, facilities management and infrastructure support services.

Representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), and GSA will give presentations on successfully marketing your business to the private and public sector. Lastly, a panel discussion with Maria Panjil Battle, President, AmeriHealth Caritas Partnership and Phil Jauragie, President and CEO, Saber Systems, Inc., will discuss “How to Build & Grow a Successful Business.”

Business owners and managers looking for more information on these marketing opportunities should attend the conference on May 26, 2015 from 8:00 am - 12:30 p.m. The event is taking place at the William J. Green Federal Building located at 600 Arch Street, 2nd Floor Conference Room in Philadelphia.
