Saint Vincent College SBDC to Host Global Growth Conference Focusing on U.S. Export Controls & Compliance

Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center's (SBDC) Center for Global Competitiveness, along with co-sponsors U.S. Commercial Service and Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission, will host the 6th Annual Global Growth Conference on Wednesday, May 7, 2014. This conference’s main objective is to educate attendees on U.S. Export Controls and Regulations by featuring global market practitioners from some of the world’s leading multi-nationals who will share their best practices, personal experiences, and strategies for success.

Specialized sessions on Foreign Assets Control Regulations (OFAC), Foreign Trade Regulations, Automated Export System (AES), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), along with many others will benefit participants by providing the most up-to-date information on exporting and complying with Federal requirements. Because international trade can be difficult to sustain, it is vital to be aware of the opportunities and challenges that come along with growing one’s business to ensure success.  Companies who are currently selling their products internationally or who are thinking about exporting are encouraged to attend this valuable one-day conference.
